Patrick Henderson
CEO · FOUNDER · INVESTOR
Patrick Henderson is the founder and owner of LJJB Properties, LLC, a Roanoke-based real estate company known for offering high-end, white-glove rental homes throughout the Roanoke Valley. With a focus on superior property standards and best-in-class customer service, Patrick has built LJJB Properties into one of the region’s premier providers of high-end single-family rentals, serving families and professionals who expect more from their rental experience.
A Roanoke native and graduate of the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Patrick brings a disciplined, systems-driven mindset to every facet of his real estate business. Since entering the market in 2018, he has grown a $20 million portfolio that includes short and long term rentals, multi-family housing, and commercial properties across the region. His approach blends data-driven analysis with a strong commitment to hospitality, ensuring that every LJJB property is immaculately maintained and every resident receives responsive, personalized care.
Before founding LJJB Properties, Patrick co-founded Protos Security, one of the nation’s leading tech-enabled physical security providers. Under his leadership, Protos grew from a startup into the fifth-largest security company in the United States, with over 5,000 employees and $750 million in annual revenue. Patrick remains an active board member following a strategic equity partnership in 2019.
In addition to his work in real estate, Patrick is a founding partner of Missional Capital Group, a values-driven real estate investment firm, and has invested in 22 ground-up 7 Brew franchise locations in the Richmond, VA market.
Patrick’s outlook on life has been profoundly shaped by a challenging experience in 2002 when he courageously battled Burkitt’s Lymphoma, one of the most lethal forms of cancer. This near-miss experience ignited his unwavering faith, unyielding drive, and a deep passion for his roles as a devoted husband, loving father, and accomplished entrepreneur.
Adam Sammons
BUSINESS MANAGER
Adam Sammons serves as the Business Manager for LJJB Properties, LLC, where he oversees daily operations, financial strategy, and long-term planning for a growing portfolio of luxury rental homes across the Roanoke Valley.
A Roanoke native with a degree in Economics and Business from Hampden-Sydney College, Adam brings over a decade of experience in systems management, process optimization, and financial operations. Prior to joining LJJB Properties, he held several leadership roles at Protos Security—the fifth-largest security provider in the U.S.—where he most recently served as Vice President of Financial Systems. In that role, he led the integration of multiple multimillion-dollar acquisitions and was responsible for streamlining financial and operational infrastructure across the enterprise.
At LJJB Properties, Adam combines his analytical background with a hands-on, service first mindset to ensure every property runs efficiently and every tenant receives prompt, professional support. From lease structuring to maintenance coordination, he plays a key role in delivering the elevated standard of living that defines the LJJB Properties brand.
